School Class Management System
Terms of Service
Draft terms for using the School Class Management System.
These draft terms describe the app's current intended use. The service operator must review them, identify the responsible entity, and obtain appropriate legal advice before treating them as binding terms.
Using the service
The School Class Management System provides teacher-focused tools for organizing classes, recording attendance and grades, preparing lesson plans, and generating reports. You may use it only if you are authorized to do so and agree to follow applicable laws, school policies, and these terms.
The service is not an official Department of Education system unless the responsible authorities expressly state otherwise. DepEd-aligned formats or calculations do not constitute official endorsement.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials private, and promptly take reasonable steps to secure your account if you believe it has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity performed using your account, subject to applicable law.
Learner information
Only enter learner information when you have the authority and necessary approvals to do so. Use the service only for legitimate educational purposes, limit information to what is reasonably necessary, and do not disclose learner records to people who are not authorized to receive them.
You are responsible for checking exported reports and files before sharing them, and for protecting copies downloaded to your devices or sent through other services.
Records and calculations
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information entered into the app and for reviewing calculations, summaries, attendance records, and generated reports before relying on or submitting them. Keep any separate records required by your school. The app should not be treated as the only authoritative copy of important school records.
Availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. The repository does not establish a service-level commitment, backup guarantee, or recovery time. Do not rely on the app as the sole place to preserve essential records.
Prohibited use
Do not use the service to access, alter, or disclose records without authorization; interfere with its operation or security; upload malicious content; or use it in a way that violates applicable law or school requirements.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these draft terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. The responsible operator and any legally required limitations or remedies must be identified and reviewed before publication.
Suspension, termination, and contact
The operator must define when access may be suspended or terminated, what happens to associated records, and how users can contact the service operator. No operator identity or contact address is configured in this repository, so these draft terms do not make a commitment about account closure or record deletion.
Updates
The operator should publish material revisions with an effective date and explain how affected users will be notified. Applicable law governs any terms that cannot be resolved by these draft terms.
